| We understand
that your photographs at times depict personal and private events in your
life. We have designed our procedures to insure the security,
privacy and confidentiality of your photographs. That said,
please do not send photos of children engaged in sexual acts: we will not
process them.
We do not retain copies of any of your photographs in any form, except temporarily as described below. Personal Information We don't sell or otherwise transfer your personal information (name, address, phone, e-mail). We may send informational or promotional e-mails from time to time. When we do, we will provide an easy method for you to opt-out of future e-mails should you choose to do so. Image Retention Policy We always use one of the prominent carriers offering a tracking service (UPS, FedEx or US Postal Service) to return your film and CD or DVD of scanned images to you. We retain your images for 30 days after we ship your order. In the unlikely event that the package is lost in transit to you, we can recreate the CD so you won't lose the photographs you ask us to scan. Should you report a quality problem with any of the scanned images you receive, we will also be able to use the image file to review the scans with you and understand your concerns. We destroy the image file 30 calendar days after we ship your package back to you, which normally gives you at least 21 calendar days after you receive the package to report any problems. Upon request, we will delete your CD image file when we ship your order back to you, rather than retain it for 30 days.
